The Maasai Mara is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit is from July to October during the Great Migration when millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles cross the Mara River.

Pack light, comfortable clothing in neutral colors, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a camera, binoculars, and sturdy shoes for game drives. Don’t forget a light jacket for cool mornings and evenings.
